Queer Youth Together
Queer Youth Together (or QyouT pronounced “cute”) is a program for young people (age 12 to 24) within the sexuality and gender diverse community. It provides a safe space for community connection, learning, mindfulness and fun.
QyouT meets during school terms on Saturday afternoons 2 to 4pm @ the Hub. The program alternates between having structured events or just dropping in and hanging out. Structured events include outings, brief but fun learning sessions and occasional movie nights.
There are also school holiday activities.
For more information, read our brochure or contact Liz Stephens (QyouT adult convenor) on 0419 964 948, or Aster (QyouT young adult convenor) on 0466 986993.

Southside Women
The Southside Women’s Group (SSW) provides a safe space for community connection, learning, mindfulness and fun for lesbian, bisexual, same sex attracted transgender women, non-binary, asexual and queer women in Canberra.
We provide same-sex attracted women with opportunities to make new connections and friendships, enhance their emotional and physical wellbeing, and develop a circle of friends to reduce isolation. The program is based in South Canberra but welcomes participants from all over the Canberra region.
We hold regular (at least monthly) activities including lunches, dinners, movies, concerts, outdoor activities, festivals and camping.
For more information, read our brochure or join our Facebook group.
